# Is advance booking required for Barren Island trips?
Author: Andamantourpackage

Yes, [barren island trip booking](https://andamantourtravelpackage.com/barren-island-andaman-tour-packages/) must be done in advance because of the limited nature of the trip and the government restrictions. Few operators are allowed to operate these trips and the places fill up fast, particularly during the peak tourist season. Planning ahead helps in securing permits and planning the trip properly. It also allows you to get the best rates and dates for your trip. It's also hard to plan at the last minute, so it's best to plan in advance to avoid complications.
